Privacy Policy
This is not a maze of fine print for the sake of looking official. It is a straight account of what Rojebat touches, what it deliberately leaves alone, and which third-party engines sit under the hood.
The short version
Rojebat is built around sports curiosity, not around harvesting people. Users do not exchange personal data with each other. The developer does not run a quiet warehouse of names, addresses, or private dossiers. At most, the app may rely on a unique technical identifier so analytics and push notifications can tell one device installation from another — nothing more romantic than that.
What you put into the app
You may add a sport, a self-selected level, an optional age, and free-text achievements for comparison. You may also capture or upload an image of a well-known player and, if you choose, type a player name to improve recognition. That content exists to power your matchup experience. It is not treated as a social graph, a marketplace listing, or a public profile for strangers.
Third-party services (and why they are here)
Rojebat does not pretend to invent every infrastructure piece from scratch. The following third-party services may process limited technical or content data strictly to make the product work:
Firebase
Firebase is a third-party service used for core app plumbing — things like reliable backend support, crash or performance signals, and related Google infrastructure. It may see technical events and installation-level identifiers. It is not given a mandate to collect your life story.
OneSignal
OneSignal is a third-party push notification service. If notifications are enabled on your device, OneSignal may use a unique push/device identifier so Rojebat can send alerts you actually asked for. Disable notifications in system settings if you prefer silence.
OpenAI
OpenAI is a third-party service used to generate text responses for career analysis, comparable-stage context, matchup commentary, and verdicts. When a generation runs, the app sends the text needed for that request — for example the player-related prompt content and the achievement text you typed for comparison. It does not send a separate dossier of personal identity documents, payment details, or contact books. You send the message content required for the feature; you do not hand over “everything about you” by default.
What we do not do
- We do not let users pass personal data to each other inside Rojebat.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not ask for personal data as a ticket to enter the stadium.
- We do not invent a player identity when recognition confidence is too low — accuracy over theater.
Identifiers, tracking, and pushes
The ceiling for tracking is intentionally low: a unique ID for installation analytics and/or push delivery. That ID exists so the app can function and improve, not so a stranger can reconstruct your private life from a scoreboard.
Images and on-device choices
Camera and gallery access are used for the scan flow you initiate. Photos you choose are processed for player recognition and career generation related to that scan. Do not upload images you are not allowed to use.
Children
Rojebat is aimed at a general sports audience. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided information that should not be there, contact us and we will take a practical look.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the date at the top will move with it. Continuing to use Rojebat after an update means you are playing under the revised rules of the pitch.
